Piekenierskloof
Piekenierskloof is a wine-growing region located in the mountains of South Africa, in the heart of the Citrusdal Valley mountain district. Thanks to its high altitudes, the days are warm and the nights cool, which helps preserve the acidity of the grapes.
This region is home to some of the Western Cape's oldest vines, including Pinotage, Cinsaut, Grenache, Palomino and Chenin Blanc.

"Grenache Noir Lula Ilse Single Vineyard 2022 is aged in 300-liter French oak barrels. The pure bouquet presents aromas of raspberry coulis, white pepper and light touches of clove and black olive. The medium-bodied palate with supple tannins is very harmonious and precise, with a persistent, sophisticated finish that testifies to very assiduous winemaking. Superb. 2025-2040" (Vinous 2023)
