"A cuvée that's always on target, doing double duty after the excellent 2018 vintage, also voted coup de coeur. These 80-year-old vines have worked wonders again, with a 2019 that is unreservedly open to black and red fruits, enhanced by spices and fine floral nuances. These aromas are echoed on the palate, which is as broad as it is long, both round and fresh, structured by firm yet fine, elegant tannins, leaving us serene about the future of this bottle." About the domain :
Didier Lagneau, the eighth generation, took over the family estate in 2018. He manages this estate, born from 4 ha of vines in the late 1970s and nestled in a quiet valley in Quincié. Today, the vineyard covers 19 ha. A (very) safe bet for Côte-de-Brouilly and Régnié.

Clean, fruity, smoky, leathery nose. Full-bodied and long finish. Could have been kept longer. A very good wine.
