Château d'Arsac
Heir to a family winegrowing tradition spanning several generations, Philippe Raoux acquired the Château d'Arsac in 1986. At the time in a state of ruin, he undertook the rehabilitation of the buildings and vineyard.

Château d'Arsac comprises 112 hectares of vines planted in a single block, part in the Margaux appellation and part in the Haut-Médoc. It benefits from a favorable terroir: a sandy-gravelly croup mixed with a fairly thin layer of clay. Château d'Arsac produces 2 red wines: Château d'Arsac (Margaux) and Château Le Monteil d'Arsac (Haut Médoc), as well as a white wine: Château d'Arsac cuvée Céline (Bordeaux).

Philippe Raoux has built Château d'Arsac 's reputation not only on the quality of its wines, but also as a place of creation and openness to the arts. Every year since 1992, he has acquired a work of contemporary art: Claude Viallat, Niki de Saint Phalle, Bernard Pagès and César are all part of the Sculpture Garden surrounding the Château.

"A powerful, accomplished and ambitious wine!

"The nose is subtly graphite and chalky. The attack is lively and fresh, with dominant aromas of blackcurrant. The tannins then tighten and lengthen, before concluding with salinity. The wine is designed for finesse". (Terre de Vins 2021)

A nose that evokes fruity gourmandise, a suave attack with a well-presented wine on a precise, silky and well-balanced tannic structure. A generous finish that gives the impression of biting into the grape.... It's all there for your enjoyment. A well-born Margaux offering excellent value for money! - Delivery in wooden case for orders delivered in France of 6 bottles of this wine (excluding Point Relais delivery method).
