Domaine du Petit Clocher
Located in the heart of the Anjou region in Maine et Loire, the Petit Clocher estate has seen 4 generations of winegrowers over the last 50 years. Today the Petit Clocher estate extends over 80 hectares of vines, in the commune of Cléré Sur Layon. Aware of environmental issues, the younger generation continues to work within a philosophy of responsible agriculture, respecting the traditions and know-how handed down. The Petit Clocher estate produces a range of wines that respect the diversity of terroirs and grape varieties in the local landscape.

"Magnificent sweetness that brings out the wine's exoticism. Exemplary balance and freshness".

"Inaugurating the domaine's new range, this recently created cuvée from schist terroirs adds a new distinction to an impressive list of Favorites. It is made from 100% botrytis, vinified and aged in barrels for one year. The result is a beautiful liquoreux with an intense nose of dried fruit, ripe grapes, prunes, dates and honey, and great concentration, volume and structure, with the freshness that ensures balance. A powerful, expressive and long Layon, built to last". (Le Guide Hachette 2025).

The cuvée Anjou-Villages takes things up a notch, with aromatic intensity around peony, ripe red and black fruits, and spices. The palate is full-bodied, with a frank attack and good volume. The tannins will soften with decanting. A fine example of the typicity of this appellation at an affordable price!
