Domaine de La Roche Moreau
The Domaine de La Roche Moreau is a 28-hectare estate run by the Davy family, winegrowers from father to son for five generations in St Aubin. André and his wife Nathalie, who live in a listed 17th-century mansion, passionately craft a fine range of wines.

An indisputable benchmark in Anjou viticulture, La Roche Moreau stands out for its sweet wines: Coteaux du Layon 1er Cru Chaume and Quart de Chaume. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand, in several successive selections to obtain wines of great finesse. After vinification, the ageing wines are stored in an old coal mine dug into the rock, ensuring ideal temperature and hygrometry.

La Roche Moreau works in integrated viticulture, with natural weeding in total respect of the terroir, and obtained HVE certification in 2018.

"Great liquoreux!"

"This excellent wine immediately delights with its aromas of quince, mirabelle plum and candied fruit. Aromas that infuse a mouth that's suave without heaviness, silky, elegant, full-bodied and long, with unfailing harmony, perfectly balanced by freshness. A model for the appellation, and for a long time to come. (Le Guide Hachette 2024)

"A dazzling success!

"Combining great ripeness and finesse, this rich, powerful liquoreux, aged without the addition of wood, displays superb balance. We're already enjoying its notes of preserved lemon, milk jam, apricot and mango, and its ample, long and delicate palate, which stretches out its fruit with finesse. Concentration never takes over, and freshness is always present. A monument, to be reserved for itself or with a light dessert such as a citrus or summer fruit salad." (Le Guide Hachette 2024)
