Domaine Julien Masquin
Paul Masquin, the grandfather, bought some vineyards in Courthézon in 1936 out of passion. However, as he was very busy setting up a brush manufacturing company, he entrusted them to other winegrowers on a sharecropping basis.
Nurturing the dream of making his own wines, his grandson Julien Masquin took over the estate in 1998. He devoted all his efforts to returning to sustainable farming methods that respect the terroir.
2009 saw the birth of the first vintages of Domaine Julien Masquin in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes du Rhône.
