Domain Lagneau
Domain A family business handed down from father to son for 9 generations, Gérard the father and Didier the son work together, creating a subtle blend of experience. Domaine Lagneau uses sustainable viticulture to respect the balance of the terroir. The wines have a strong identity, combining finesse, a bouquet of fruit and spices, a power marked by the terroir, and the know-how of Domaine Lagneau. Didier Lagneau, the eighth generation, took over the 4-hectare vineyard in 2018, born in the late 1970s and nestled in a quiet Quincié valley. The Côtes de Brouilly vineyard now covers 19 ha.

"The estate's octogenarian vines, rooted in a hectare of blue schist, produce a wine that is immediately seductive. Elegant notes of cherry and blueberry on the nose, followed by silky, fine tannins that flatter the palate. A great success in this demanding vintage". (Le Guide Hachette 2024)

A real success for this cuvée made from old vines, voted 2** Coup de Cœur in 2019. On the nose, a hint of spice mingles with notes of black and red fruits. Rich and harmonious on the palate, with fine minerality. A full-bodied, well-balanced wine that's perfect for cellaring for several years.

Régnié will turn your head! Its supple construction comes from old vines and offers intense aromas that mature quietly in the gentle atmosphere of the cellar for an entire year. It draws its seduction from the fine combination of the terroir's minerality and the perfume of very ripe red fruits and sweet spices.

"A cuvée that's always on target, doing double duty after the excellent 2018 vintage, also voted coup de coeur. These 80-year-old vines have worked wonders again, with a 2019 that is unreservedly open to black and red fruits, enhanced by spices and fine floral nuances. These aromas are echoed on the palate, which is as broad as it is long, both round and fresh, structured by firm yet fine, elegant tannins, leaving us serene about the future of this bottle." "On a 1.5-hectare blue schist terroir, the Gamays helped by the sunshine of the 2018 vintage have produced a rich, harmonious wine, but also with beautiful mineral finesse. On the nose, a hint of spice mingles with notes of black and red fruit. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and perfectly balanced, revealing a wide range of aromas: fruity, floral (iris) and spicy. A great success. (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2021)
