Domaine de Fa
The Graillot family has long been established in the Rhône Valley, and Alain moved to Crozes Hermitage 30 years ago, but she has never severed her Burgundian roots. In fact, there is still a family home near Tournus.
Perhaps this is reflected in the wines produced at the Crozes estate: they generally have good aging potential, but there has always been a focus on fruit and freshness, which also makes them enjoyable when young. These qualities are generally recognized in the Gamay grape variety.
It was therefore with this dual interest—bringing life to the family home and producing wines they love in a region with great potential—that they set out in search of vineyards in the Beaujolais region.
In 2014, Antoine and Maxime Graillot acquired a 5-hectare plot of land: Domaine de Fa was born. Today, Domaine de Fa consists of 8 hectares of vines, whose grapes are vinified in the family home.
The Domaine de Fa produces wines in the Beaujolais, Saint Amour, and Fleurie appellations.
