Beauregard-Ducourt Castle
A historic Entre-Deux-Mers property, Château Beauregard was purchased by the Ducourt family in 1973. The building overlooks a 57-hectare vineyard planted on a vast south-facing slope. This particular topology, combined with the clay-limestone nature of the soil, favors natural drainage and grape ripeness for expressive, fruity wines.

In 1858, the Ducourt family settled at Château des Combes in Ladaux, a small rural village south-east of Bordeaux. With the passing of the generations, the passion for wine became a profession, and the know-how and the vineyard were gradually passed on and enriched. Each generation has preserved the philosophy dictated by its elders: to make the most of each terroir, combining the good sense of yesteryear with today's techniques, to produce wines that are pleasurable, authentic and affordable, but also respectful of the environment and customer expectations.

Today the Ducourt family is one of the largest independent winegrowing units in the region: 450 ha of vineyards spread over 14 Châteaux, including Château Beauregard, both in the Entre-Deux-Mers and Saint Emilion regions.

"Pale with golden highlights, this 2017 evokes citrus fruits with intensity on the nose and palate. The palate is fresh and taut, as it should be. A good classic." (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2019)
