Château Dalem
4.4/5See all 50 reviews
Château Dalem overlooks the Isle Valley at Saillans, in the Fronsac appellation, from its beautiful 18th-century home in the Libourne region. Surrounded by its vineyards, this 3-century-old family estate was handed over to Michel Rullier in 1955. He introduced technical changes to modernize Château Dalem wines. Today, his daughter Brigitte Rullier-Loussert manages this beautiful Bordeaux property and its 15 hectares of vines, planted mainly with Merlot (90%) and supplemented with Cabernet Franc. She brings her signature style to the vineyard, with integrated viticulture, and to the cellar, with her winemaking methods, and is developing the international market.

"The floral bouquet is what you notice first, before moving on to notes of licorice, tobacco leaf, espresso and chocolate-covered plum. On the palate, the wine seduces with its silky textures and opulent nature. The finish remains elegant and flavorful. This is the best vintage of Dalem I've ever tasted". (Jeff Leve 2023) - Delivery in wooden case possible for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (depending on country and shipping method selected).
