Brane-Cantenac Castle
Château Brane-Cantenac has been owned by the Lurton family since 1925. Château Brane-Cantenac owes its reputation to an exceptional terroir of deep Quaternary gravel. Since 1992, Henri Lurton has made it his mission to produce the best possible wine each year to consolidate its position as a second grand cru classé in 1855, while remaining faithful to its terroir and its high standards.

Château Brane-Cantenac has built its legend on an 80-hectare vineyard spread over several plots. One of these, the largest, is located in front of the château and is planted on the appellation's finest gravelly hilltop. It demands a great deal of effort from the vines, forcing their roots to dig deep to find nourishment.

A spacious vat room, modern winemaking techniques, and a talented team contribute to creating a racy, aromatic wine that is complex, balanced, and has great aging potential.
