With its 10 hectares of vineyards, the Château Ferrière is the smallest of the Médoc's 1855 Grands Crus Classés. Located in the heart of the village of Margaux, it benefits from a terroir of very deep Garonne gravel and limestone marl. This 3rd Grand Cru Classé was acquired by the Villars family in 1988, along with Châteaux Chasse-Spleen and Haut-Bages Libéral. Today, managed by Claire Villars Lurton and accompanied by oenologist Eric Boissenot, the estate has regained all its nobility with a style combining power and finesse. It has been certified organic since 2015 and biodynamic since 2018 by Demeter and Biodyvin. Le Château Ferrière is a real rising star in the Médoc, one to watch closely!
