"One look, one sip, and you're won over. This gem rivals many of the world's great wines!"
"Lovers of Bordeaux Blanc should pounce on this jewel. One look, one sip, and you're won over. I don't know where to begin. Complete in every way, the wine starts with a nose that explodes with orange peel, honeysuckle, lemon puree, flowers, green apples, spices and herbs. Striking as it may seem, it's the incredible purity of the relentless waves of citrus and yellow tropical fruit that seal the deal. From there, all that's left is a seamless, electric finish that, once started, just won't stop. This gem rivals many of the world's great wines, and sells for a fraction of their price. It's the best white wine ever produced by the Bernard family at Domaine de Chevalier. Don't miss it" (Jeff Leve 2024) - Delivery in wooden cases possible for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (depending on country and shipping method selected).

Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (guide 2021) 5*Stars (Outstanding producers, those who represent the absolute pinnacle of quality in France and the world)
About the domain :
Here's an estate held in high esteem by all, with a superb vineyard surrounding the château, one of the best cultivated in Bordeaux. Olivier Bernard is a tireless ambassador for Bordeaux wines around the world. He is also one of those who most intimately know the value of their product, thanks to daily tastings in the company of the countless visitors to the estate, a pioneer in welcoming the public. The whites are the most racy in the commune, the reds models of Bordeaux classicism in their proportions and flavor. The latest reds are impressive for their extra body and complexity. Beautiful nuances, tension and energy for the white esprit-de-chevalier, which is the perfect reflection of the great wine. The 2016, 2017 and 2018 reds and whites are simply top-notch, and the estate richly deserves its 5-star rating.

Domaine rated (guide 2022) 2*Stars (These great estates, often endowed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, must be included in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).
About the domain :
Since 1983, the Bernard family has been doing its utmost to keep this fine estate at the forefront of the appellation. Thanks to state-of-the-art technical equipment and a vineyard that is now old enough to produce great grapes, the wines are irreproachable, both white and red. The vineyard, located in one of the cooler areas of the appellation, on the edge of the Landes forest, is tended like a garden. The white grapes are sorted with extreme care, and vinification has become considerably more sophisticated, without altering the style or class of this highly reputed wine. Chevalier embodies finesse and elegance, without compromising ageing potential.

About the wine:
This family estate in Léognan is legendary for its white wine. This is a ripe, spicy-wooded wine. Its youthful acidity brings out a tangy side that will soften and flesh out into a long-lasting wine. Drink from 2026.

About the wine:
Domaine de Chevalier Blanc 2021 is a dense, powerful dry white. Fans will need to be patient, as the 2021 will need some time to reach its peak. Today, the intensity of the wine's texture and a little oak are to the fore. The 2021 is a white of great quality and character. I can't wait to see how it ages. 2029-2051

About the wine:
A serious nose of great depth and complexity. Fine oak spices, chalk, meringue, lanolin and a touch of praline/pistachio on lemon, redcurrant and minerality. Extremely harmonious, with a deliciously saline touch on the midpalate. Medium-bodied, with a persistent yet elegantly subtle finish that lasts almost a minute. 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Semillon. Already a pleasure to taste and drink, but will hold up well over the next 15 years at least. To drink or to keep.

About the wine:
Depth and subtlety are announced from the very first whiffs of the bouquet, with notes of mirabelle plum, peach and verbena. The woodiness is certainly perceptible, but it is above all a supporting element, not a dominant one. Dense and saline, the wine is sapid and persistent. The latter is due to a fine bitterness that stretches the finish and ensures its ageing potential, in common with the acidity. An elegant, harmonious wine. Now - 2041

About the wine:
Bright yellow with green highlights. Very aromatic nose with freshness and aromatic depth, fragrant fruit, grape zest, fresh tangerine, peach and apricot notes, discreet tropical fruit in the background. The aromatic herbs are tasty, with a whiff of basil and mint. On the palate, the wine is well-balanced and structured, with great precision, elegance and depth, lively acidity, rich fruit, excellent length and great freshness. A great wine.
