Château Gazin
Château Gazin was purchased at the beginning of the 20th century by Louis Soualle, the great-grandfather of the current owners. Louis Soualle's descendants represent the fifth generation of wine estate owners on both the paternal and maternal sides of the family.
The Château Gazin vineyard covers a single 26-hectare plot located on the upper terrace of the Pomerol terroir. The terroir is composed of Günzian gravel on the surface and blue and green clay containing iron oxides (iron scale) in the subsoil. The vines are cultivated using traditional methods that fully respect the environment: plowing, organic fertilizers, sustainable pest control, and manual harvesting (plot by plot, at perfect maturity).
Château Gazin wines are long and silky, complex, and always offer great pleasure.
