"An expressive bouquet of dark berries and graphite exhales on the nose with a saline nuance. Fleshy and full-bodied, with firm, silky tannins and a juicy, fruity finish. Rich finish. This wine continues to offer excellent value for money. A promising wine" (James Suckling 2019) A real success !

Robert Parker - Wine Advocate
Rated (2017 guide) 87-89/100 (Good wine)
About the wine:
The 2016 Pipeau has a very pure, well-defined bouquet of red cherries and hints of blueberry. The medium-bodied palate has supple tannins, well-gauged acidity, a little oak at the moment but a texture so smooth you won't be able to resist. This is a well-crafted and delicious follow-up to the excellent 2015.

Very good wine, full-bodied with silky tannins. Good expression of Saint Emilion. Should be left to age, in my opinion, so that it "softens" a little.
