2*Coup de Coeur
Hachette
"All the typical characteristics you would expect from a Chablis!"
" One of the very best vintages in the appellation, made from vines planted before 1980. The seduction begins on the nose, where citrus and honey aromas are underscored by a slightly woody nuance. In the same aromatic vein, the palate is full-bodied, rich, and opulent, with a lively finish. Power combined with finesse. (Le Guide Hachette 2025)

About the estate:
We have been following this estate for some time now and are delighted with Charly Nicolle's serious approach and steady progress. Working the terroirs of Fleys, including the two premier crus Les Fourneaux and the easternmost part of Mont de Milieu, he produces a small range of wines with great density on the palate, bringing out the distinctive minerality of each cru. This is a sure bet for the sector.

About wine:
One of the very best vintages in the appellation, made from vines planted before 1980. The seduction begins on the nose, where citrus and honeyed aromas are underscored by a slightly woody nuance. In the same aromatic register, the palate is full-bodied, rich, and opulent, with a lively finish. Power combined with finesse.
About the estate:
Charly Nicolle's great-grandparents were already growing grapes. Following in the footsteps of previous generations, the young winemaker embarked on his own adventure. Based in Fleys, east of Chablis, he created his own estate in 2011, carefully tending his 17 hectares of Chardonnay vines, and has established himself as a reliable producer in the Chablis region. He also runs the family estate of La Mandelière.
