Champagne Agrapart et Fils
Champagne Agrapart & Fils was founded in Avize at the end of the 19th century by Arthur Agrapart. The Agrapart vineyard extends over 9.75 hectares, mainly in Avize, Oger, Cramant and Oiry Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs. The chalky soil, specific to the Côte des Blancs, enables us to work the Chardonnay grape, best known for bringing freshness, elegance and finesse to the wine. Comprising 62 plots (some over 65 years old), the average age of the Agrapart & Fils Champagne House vineyards is around 40 years. This geographical location, in the heart of the Champagne region and in villages classified as Grand Cru, is exceptional.

Since its creation, Champagne Agrapart & Fils has been a Récoltant Manipulant champagne, enabling us to control the ripening of the grapes at all times, and subsequently the evolution of the wines.

"Very pure and fragrant, with attractive aromas of fresh bread and hazelnuts, cashews, light lemons and grapefruit. The palate has a core of scintillatingly pure grapefruit and dried lemon, and a chalky, fresh pear and lime finish. Superb freshness! A very restrained blend of four Grand Cru parcels from vines aged between 20 and 50 years." (James Suckling)

"A surprising cuvée, with its bitterness articulated around citrus zest. The bubbles are ultra-fine and creamy, with the presence of fresh almonds. Beautiful mineral expression". (Les Meilleurs Vins de France 2011 - Gault Millau) " L'Avizoise 2004 gains in fleshiness, in intensity; it's an intense and frank ode to the Avisé terroir " (Les Meilleurs Vins de France 2011 - RVF)

"Slightly praline on the nose, nervous, fresh, unconditionally extra-brut, energetic but presenting only one facet." (Le Grand Guide des vins de France 2011 - Bettane & Desseauve) " The Minéral 2004 is full of nuances, with a remarkable "chalk juice" allonge " (Les Meilleurs Vins de France 2011 - RVF)

"With its low dosage and very "natural" side, this cuvée reveals a pastry nose, with notes of dried fruit, brioche, almonds and white fruit; the palate is full, mineral, vinous and finishes on pleasant notes of dried fruit. Another success story" (Les Meilleurs Vins de France 2011 - Gault Millau)

"The Brut Blanc de Blancs 7 crus is absolutely magnificent..." (Robert Parker - The Wine Advocate # 192 December 2010). Cuvée Les 7 Crus is a blend of mozaic parcels, the "têtes de cuvée" of the estate's 7 crus: Avise, Oger, Oiry, Cramant, Avenay Val d'Or, Bergères Les Vertus and Mardeuil. A particularly singular and delicious pedigree!
