Champagne Tarlant
The family-owned Maison de Champagne Tarlant extends its 14-hectare vineyard in the heart of the Marne Valley in Champagne: 55 parcels in the villages of Oeuilly, Boursault, St-Agnan and Celles-les-Condés. The soils are essentially composed of chalk, limestone, sand and small pebbles.

Concerned with respect for the environment, the Tarlant Champagne estate, run by Benoit Tarlant, has opted for a dynamic, sustainable approach to vineyard management, favoring biodiversity and the development of micro-organisms. Quality care is provided throughout the year: use of organic fertilizers, green manures and organic fertilizers, grassing of plots, hand-picking of healthy grapes at perfect maturity, respecting the typicity of each terroir on the estate. This quest for natural expression extends to the vinification and ageing of Tarlant Champagne, where dosage is kept to a minimum.

3*Coup de Coeur Hachette

"Judged remarkable last year, this cuvée has now been consecrated after an additional year in the cellar. It is a blend of one-third each of the three Champagne grape varieties and the years 2008 to 2005. For the sake of purity, no sugar is added at disgorgement. The deep gold color is animated by bubbles that are as fine as they are persistent. The nose is flattering and fresh, revealing subtle notes of flowers and white fruit, with hints of butter, brioche and empyreumatic notes. Framed by a lively attack and a long, tonic, lemony finish, the palate shines with its fullness, structure and aromatic palette, where fig gives way to mango, passion fruit and citrus. A superb continuity between nose and palate". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2016)

"The brut nature wines, with their offensive bubbles, have become more civilized in their aromas, while remaining tonic and acidic. The most energetic and precise is the 85% Chardonnay rosé".
(Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2014 - RVF). A rosé that impresses on the palate with its fruity exoticism and natural vinosity, its elegance and harmony!

4.1/5 (8 reviews)

Brut Réserve is the Champagne of sharing, a sure bet for celebrations. Harmonious and well-balanced, it's a beautiful cuvée signed with winemaking authenticity, shining with the freshness of Chardonnay and the unctuousness of Pinot. The texture is supple and elegant. A spontaneous wine, ideal for cocktails, impromptu brunches or, of course, small receptions with friends...

"Cuvée Prestige 2000 is an extra-brut vinified in barrel. Chardonnay, which makes up 90% of the blend (with pinot noir in addition), imparts freshness and finesse to a vinous body, perfumed with apricot and candied citrus fruit. An evolved, gourmet champagne, to be enjoyed at the end of the year, with poularde, for example". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2014)

"Our Favorite this year is the Vigne d'Or 2002, a pinot meunier white of rare finesse, taut with flavors of angelica and rhubarb; a new expression that will go down in history." (Les Meilleurs Vins de France 2012- RVF)

"This cuvée in particular pays tribute to the ungrafted vines, with a flattering, complex and open nose. The bubbles are subtle and, above all, perfectly integrated into the wine-like substance, while remaining fresh." (Le Guide des Vins 2011 - Gault Millau)
