Bodegas Barreda
Bodegas Barreda is a family-owned estate located in Corral de Almaguer, in the province of Toledo, Spain. The De La Barreda family produces modern-style wines, the result of significant investment in modernization and the work of oenologist Ignacio de Miguel, winemaker Marc Gomez, and viticulturist Longinos Munoz.
Bodegas Barreda owns 160 hectares located at an average altitude of 700 m, divided into three distinct estates: La Dehesilla, Monte Alto, and Pancierto. The climate is hot and dry, ideal for optimal grape ripening. The main grape variety used is an endemic variety, Arien, which covers 85 hectares, but also Tempranillo, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon, which together cover 75 hectares.
