Assisi Rosso
Assisi Rosso is a Denominazione di Origine Controllata (DOC) from the Umbria region in central Italy. The production area is limited to the two communes of Assisi and Spello, in the province of Perugia.

The Assisi Rosso vineyards are planted in the green hills, forests and mountains that characterize the Umbrian landscape. The combination of this terroir with Mediterranean climatic influences is particularly conducive to local grape varieties, although growers also use grapes from outside the region. Assisi Rosso, for example, is essentially made with Sangiovese and Merlot.

As its name suggests,Assisi Rosso is a deep ruby-red wine. It's best drunk young, even as a primeur. It offers a fine balance of tannins and freshness. Domaine Sportoletti's wine will help you appreciate this beautiful combination of freshness and liveliness.

A fine representative of Umbria, the central Italian region famous for its olive oil production. A fresh wine, expressing fruity notes of cherry and raspberry, sweet spices and chocolate. The palate is supple and well-structured, with complex tannins and a savory finish. A must-try!
