Rosso Conero
The production area of the Rosso Conero DOC encompasses the entire area behind Mount Conero and extends across the municipalities of Ancona, Varano, Camerano, Numana, Offagna, Castelfidardo, and Osimo.
The Conero promontory is an exceptional environment for growing red grapes. They benefit from a unique microclimate, with the sea just a stone's throw away, combined with poor but well-structured limestone soil, allowing for original expression in the wines produced.
Rosso Conero was one of the first wines to obtain the designation of origin by decree of the President of the Republic on July 21, 1967. Since 2004, the term Riserva can be added to the DOCG, with the designation Conero DOCG.
This appellation offers magnificent red wines, including those produced by the Lanari Estate.
