Domaine Solaria
Domaine Solaria is located in Montalcino, in the heart of Tuscany, and managed by Patrizia Cencioni.

The vineyards of Domaine Solaria benefit from a unique microclimate that allows the Sangiovese Grosso grapes to reach perfect ripeness: they are located on a natural plateau on the southeast slope of the Montalcino hillside, where, from dawn to dusk, the vines are ideally exposed to the warmth of the sun.

At Domaine Solaria, Sangiovese grapes are used to produce Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino wines, and Sangiovese and Cabernet are used to produce Solarianne, the estate's very "sunny" cuvée.

A wine made from Sangiovese grapes grown on very stony clay soils, whose expression is simply superb. A deep ruby color, an intense nose of varietal aromas, and a mouth of subtle, warm tannins... Everything you need for maximum pleasure!

Score: Robert Parker 89/100
"Brunello di Montalcino 2005 opens with a ripe, racy bouquet of floral, cherry and raspberry notes. A delicate, almost ethereal Brunello that offers beautiful clarity and freshness. Thick rims persist in the glass, indicating a superb Brunello to drink now." (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker)
