Domaine Nairaud-Suberville
The vineyards of Domaine Nairaud-Suberville covers 21 hectares in the commune of Châteaumeillant in the south of the Cher department. In terms of surface area, the Domaine Nairaud-Suberville is the largest in the Châteaumeillant appellation. To take advantage of the diversity of the terroirs, each parcel is vinified individually, and each Domaine cuvée bears the name of the parcel from which the grapes came. The geographical and geological particularities of the Châteaumeillant terroir make it possible to produce rosé and red cuvées that combine the sweetness of the fruit with the strength and vivacity of the parent rock.

Domaine Nairaud Suberville strives to reconcile tradition and modernity in both vineyard management and winemaking. The vines are cultivated in a reasoned manner, with no preventive phytopharmaceutical applications, and only curative treatments to preserve the harvest by keeping residues within authorized limits.

Domaine Nairaud Suberville is also committed to raising the profile of AOC Chateaumeillant by developing appropriate sales channels, so that it can rub shoulders with France's finest winegrowers on the finest tables.

2*Coup de Coeur Hachette

"Third Favorite out of the last five editions of the Guide, that's a winemaker's résumé! A deep garnet-red color with purple highlights, this 2015 is a thick, promising wine. Intense and rich, the nose exhales greedy scents of jammy fruit (blackberry, strawberry, cherry). The palate is full-bodied, dense and fruity, with vigorous tannins that augur well for cellar ageing.
