"Third Favorite out of the last five editions of the Guide, that's a winemaker's résumé! A deep garnet-red color with purple highlights, this 2015 is a thick, promising wine. Intense and rich, the nose exhales greedy scents of jammy fruit (blackberry, strawberry, cherry). The palate is full-bodied, dense and fruity, with vigorous tannins that augur well for cellar ageing. About the wine:
Third Favorite out of the last five editions of the Guide, that's the winemaker! A deep garnet-red color with purple highlights, this 2015 is a thick, promising wine. About the domain :
After several years with the INAO, Daniel Nairaud set his sights on the sandy-clay soils of Châteaumeillant, acquiring a vineyard of nearly 8 ha in 2011. He has quickly established himself as a key player in the appellation. He also runs the Bituriges Vins trading company, created in 2013.

Fruity wine, but still a bit austere

I didn't really appreciate this wine, which was austere and lacking in delicacy.

A nice fruity taste. the mouth is well coated. the whole is nice but well below a gamay from Ruet ... so no Favorite.

Cherry juice! Still a little astringent (drunk in June 2017), which should fade with age, interesting, truly atypical wine. For the price, it would be a shame to miss out.

A magnificent cuvée, bursting with fruit, with supple, velvety tannins and a long finish, this bottle is certainly a credit to its relatively unknown appellation !!!!

A pleasant wine, but it lacks a touch of madness.

Interesting, original, this wine should improve; but it remains a small, overpriced wine.
