Maison JB Clair

Maison Clair is a Côte Roannaise winery. It has been producing Côte Roannaise wine since the 16th century (the earliest recorded purchase of a vineyard in Judea was in 1536). With the award of AOC status in 1994, it has continued to produce AOC red and rosé wines. It has also been producing its flagship product, La Méthode Traditionnelle, since 1896, in Rosé and Blancs, Brut and Demi-Sec (sweet). At present, the business is run as a partnership. Jean-Baptiste Clair sadly passed away on April 18, 2019.
