Domaine Van Remoortere
The Van Remoortere estate, located in Morogues in the Cher department since 1989, comprises four hectares of vines in the Menetou-Salon appellation. Formerly run by Joseph Van Remoortere, it is now in the hands of his son Antoine. Returning home after various experiences (in South Africa and with Julien Zernott at Domaine du Pas de l'Escalette), he took over the family estate in 2011, Château de Maupas, now renamed Domaine Antoine Van Remoortere.

The Van Remoortere estate is located on a Kimmeridgian clay-limestone terroir. This young winemaker's approach is based on organic farming, with respect for the soil and the environment. This terroir offers two of the appellation's unique grape varieties, Pinot noir and Sauvignon on the estate's Fourchet and Reigny hillsides.

"A faithful ambassador of Sauvignon, this fresh cuvée will delight your taste buds!"

In a northerly climate, in the far east of the Loire, on clay-limestone soil of Kimmeridgian age, this 100% Sauvignon expresses itself with freshness and vivacity. Citrus fruits take center stage, followed by delicate floral and white fruit notes, enhanced by a dense mid-palate.
