This Muscadet estate, well known to connoisseurs, led by Michel Brégeon is now in the hands of the talented Fred Lailler, also from Cru Gorges. Now back in the region, he brings his experience and a fresh perspective to the 10-hectare estate he took over in 2011. In transition to organic farming, the Brégeon estate is a true natural heritage. The Melon de Bourgogne, Folle Blanche and Egiodola vines have an average age of 65 years and are rooted in gabbro soil at Gorges and granite at Clisson. Yields are limited to leave a clear mark on this magnificent terroir, and to produce gastronomic, ageing wines that are even capable of evolving towards a Chablis style. "This 2014 seduces with its intense nose, split between smoky and yellow fruit. The palate develops the same aromas, enriched by riper notes of peach and apricot.
