Haute Tradition is the perfect result of the combination of a quartz terroir, Melon de Bourgogne and a committed winemaker. After nearly a year's ageing on lees, this cuvée is full-bodied and well-balanced, with a lively attack. Would benefit from a little cellar ageing to discover smoky, spicy notes.

About the domain :
Today, Joseph Landron, aka "Jo", cultivates a 46-hectare vineyard divided between two estates, Domaine de la Louveterie and Château de la Carizière, and is one of the best and most consistent producers of Muscadet. The vines are grown organically.
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Rated (2015 guide) 15.5/20 (Good wine)
Estate rated (2016 guide) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winemakers with good production levels, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the wine:
Haute Tradition confirms its status as a great vintage [...] with a 2011 of great stature.
About the domain :
Jo Landron's cuvées have become benchmarks in the all-too-small family of muscadets de terroir. The wines are marketed in a staggered way, starting with the light, fruity Amphibolite - very popular with wine bars - then, depending on the case, the sandy-clay or the sandstone - the age of the vines interfering with the beautiful order of the terroirs. In the best years, Hermine d'Or combines maturity and freshness, and Fief du Breil offers real complexity.
