"A sweet, ripe nose of stewed wild berries and a palate of beautifully concentrated fruit. Good scope. Really well balanced in terms of fruit, acidity and tannins, with a supple, silky texture. "A sure bet in the appellation, the Cave de Cairanne is back in top form with its Cuvée Antique, a blend of Grenache (50%), Mourvèdre and Syrah vinified separately after total destemming; 30% of the blend is aged in oak barrels for a year.
