Clos du Mont-Olivet
Visit Clos du Mont-Olivetfounded in Châteauneuf-du-Pape in 1932 by Séraphin Sabon, is now run by his great-grandchildren Céline, David and Thierry Sabon. A great name in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, its wines have become one of the appellation's best-sellers.

The 48-hectare Clos du Mont-Olivet vineyard is planted on a variety of soils, and the vines are cultivated using integrated farming methods. The Châteauneuf du Pape wines from Clos Mont-Olivet are sought-after by connoisseurs, and are crafted with a southern profile, but always with an eye for finesse and elegance. These wines, with their great ageing potential, reveal themselves over time, and are made in the purest Châteauneuf-du-Pape tradition. Capable of withstanding the test of time, these wines will sublimate with age.

In the meantime, Clos Mont-Olivet also produces fine wines in the Lirac, Côtes-du-Rhône and Vin de Pays du Gard appellations. The estate also produces fine white wines!

"A surprisingly fresh, fruity Lirac!

"The aromatic palette opens up with red berries and spices; a nose with more freshness than the 2020. The palate is also less carried away by alcohol and richness. Logically, this aromatic freshness is seductive for this appellation, but the tannic structure, on the other hand, is more prominent". (Le Guide RVF 2024)

"This Cuvée owes much to the personality of the Grenache grape, which gives it dense black fruit and beautiful depth."

The large majority of Grenache in this cuvée brings depth, density and beautiful black fruit aromas. The fruit is certainly intense and present, but finesse prevails, with balance and serious freshness.

"All the refinement of a Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc in one cuvée!

Great elegance and finesse for this Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc. A lovely springtime bouquet of white flowers entices you from the first nose, before giving way to a delicate palate with a nice fatness without heaviness.

"A great wine sculpted for ageing".

This red Châteauneuf-du-Pape, already pleasant in its youth, exhales fresh red fruit and notes of spice and garrigue. Complex and racy, the palate reveals finesse, elegance and impressive freshness. A high-flying cuvée to be cellared!
