Pierre Amadieu
Pierre Amadieu founded and gave his name to the estate in 1929. He was one of the first to label his bottles with the Gigondas appellation and won a gold medal at the Paris Agricultural Show in 1932.
The Pierre Amadieu estate began with 7 hectares of vines and now covers 137 hectares in the heart of the Dentelles de Montmirail massif. It is now run by his son Claude and other members of his family, who are all committed to perpetuating the family spirit, respecting the terroir and traditions.
The wines produced by the Pierre Amadieu estate reveal a unique character, full of elegance and power, expressing the freshness and finesse of their terroir.
