Aqueria Castle
Château d'Aqueria extends over 66 hectares of vineyards in the Tavel and Lirac appellations of the Rhône Valley. Château d'Aqueria is a family estate that was taken over in 1920, and is now run by Bruno and Vincent de Bez, who are responsible for marketing and making these wines from magnificent Rhone Valley terroirs.

Château d'Aqueria 's vineyards are managed according to the precepts of lutte raisonnée, as naturally as possible. A great deal of work is carried out on the vines throughout the year to enable them to produce their best. All the grape varieties of the Tavel and Lirac appellations are represented. Château d'Aqueria wines are of the highest quality, especially the Tavel, a true gourmet rosé well known to wine lovers.

"The minerality typical of its limestone terroir blends with the aromatic expression of the grape varieties".

"Composed of 40% Clairette, 20% Grenache, 15% Roussanne and the rest Viognier aged almost entirely in concrete (some old demi-muids for the Roussanne), Lirac Blanc 2022 offers a bouquet of ripe white peach and pear notes, as well as honeyed flowers and subtle spices. It's rich and concentrated, yet fresh and lively, and an exceptional white wine from this team that readers will love." (Jeb Dunnuck 2023)

"Consistency in an aromatic register carried by a sincere, young and greedy fruitiness that is found in a fleshy, full-bodied palate. A nicely spicy finish and pleasant length for this great classic of the appellation". (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins à moins de 20€ 2012 - Gerbelle & Maurange)
