This 100% Carignan is a pure delicacy, intensely fruity (cherry, blackberry, blackcurrant), spicy, suave and juicy, while retaining its length. A wine in the image of Fernand Vaquer, pioneering winemaker and French rugby champion in 1921 with USAP, to whom this cuvée pays homage.

"This 100% Grenache Gris, born on schist, vinified and aged in oak barrels, made a strong impression. Its attractive, brilliant, limpid pale color, its elegant nose of vanilla, lemon and fresh butter, and above all its full, round, fresh and very fine palate, with admirable length. This beautiful Rivesaltes expresses itself on the nose with complex, bewitching aromas, typical of mutated oxidative wines: walnut, caramel, nougat, brandy, Cognac atmosphere. The palate is powerful, mellow and deep, having nicely integrated its sugar, with a lovely mellowness balanced by acidity and a rather long finish of walnut and candied fruit.
