Tour des Gendres Castle
Château Tour des Gendres is a farm in southwestern France that was bought by the De Conti family in 1925. In the third generation, it was turned into a winery and produced its first vintage in 1985. Château Tour des Gendres now has 52 hectares in the Bergerac AOC.

A family business run by Luc De Conti, it is divided into three distinct vineyards: Les Gendres, on clay-limestone and marl soils in Monbazillac; Le Grand Caillou, on clay-limestone and marl soils in Castillon; and Saint Julien d'Eymet, on clay-limestone and clay-loam soils on marl in the Agenais region. The entire estate has been farmed organically since 1994 and has been certified organic by Agrocert since 2005. Finally, in 2000, Château Tour des Gendres set up a wine trading business in partnership with five neighboring estates that share the same cultivation practices, producing Bergerac wines under the Château Tour des Gendreslabel .The vineyard is now run by Luc de Conti's children.
