"Paul Sauer 2017 offers a juicy, fruity nose with heady floral aromas and woody notes of cinnamon, vanilla and sweet cedar. Medium to full-bodied, flavors of red plum and black cherry juice coat the palate with rosewater before gripping tannins express themselves on the tongue. The wine persists with richness and robustness as well as vibrant, juicy blackcurrant flavors, ending with a long, succulent finish. It shares a number of commonalities with the 2015 and should age just as gracefully." (Wine Advocate 2021)
