Domaine Bousquet
Originally from Carcassonne, the family Bousquet has been interested in the vineyards of Mendoza since the early 1990s. After an initial trip to Argentina, Jean Bousquet discovered the region and its unique potential: a high-altitude terroir at the foot of the Andes.

In 1997, the Bousquet family acquired a 110-hectare parcel of land never before farmed by man. An ideal playground for these winemakers, who embarked on an organic approach right from the start of their Argentine adventure.

The Bousquet estate is located in Tupungato, in the Gualtallary Valley. This is the highest vineyard in Mendoza and in the world: 1,200 m above sea level. With cool nights, constant wind and low rainfall, conditions are ideal for producing top-quality wines.

Domaine Bousquet is now the most awarded organic estate in the world.

90/100 Decanter

Imbued with freshness, this Reserve cuvée shakes off the clichés about new-world Chardonnays being too bold, too woody, too "tropical". Quite the contrary! The nose is subtle, with aromas of white flowers typical of the grape variety. The palate is lightly toasted, with an elegant saline touch on the finish. - Packaging in screw cap

"Dark ruby. Redcurrant, blackberry, musky espresso and licorice on the nose and palate. Soft and generous; a delicious, supple wine that's accessible now. Finishes with soft tannins and lovely volume, length and peach. Above all, it's easy to drink, but will keep for several years. (Vinous - Antonio Galloni)

This blend of Torontes and Chardonnay is THE aromatic cuvée of Domaine Bousquet. White flowers and lychee emerge from the glass. The attack on the palate is crisp, even zesty, with fresh fruit. What vigor!
