Amethysts - Michel Guignier
Located in the commune of Villié Morgon, in the heart of the Beaujolais crus, Michel-Guignier - Les Améthystes offers healthy, natural and authentic wines that will seduce you with their character: Morgon, Brouilly, Chiroubles, Beaujolais, Saint-Amour, Fleurie, Moulin à vent, Mâcon Villages...

Heir to 4 generations of winegrowers and with 20 years' experience himself, Michel Guignier is one of the few winegrowers to take up the challenge of organic production on his estate.
Its "neo-traditional" wines express the true nature of their terroir.

At the same time, over the past 10 years Michel Guignier has forged partnerships with some of the most innovative producers in the heart of Beaujolais.
Les Améthystes is thus an exclusive selection of AOC-certified wines, half of which are certified organic and the other half in conversion, produced in collaboration with these winegrowers who respect the terroir, vines and soils, values that are Michel Guignier's own.

"A fascinating Moulin-à-Vent".

"A one-and-a-half-hectare granite terroir, 45-year-old vines and barrel ageing are Michel Guignier's winning combination. His Moulin-à-vent is a wine of great finesse. Both nose and palate are adorned with delicate notes of rose, vanilla and candied fruit. The silky tannins create an admirable harmony throughout the tasting. A cuvée of rare elegance".
