Château Haut-Canteloup

Château Haut-Canteloup is located on the right bank of the Gironde estuary, opposite the Médoc, in the Premières Côtes de Blaye (50 km north of Bordeaux), and extends over 44 hectares of vineyards in the small commune of Fours, not far from the magnificent Vauban town of Blaye. Château Haut-Canteloup is a family-run business that has been the pride and joy of the Bordenave family for four generations now, and is also the owner of Châteaules Pierrères in the Blaye AOC.

With an intense passion for viticulture, it's only natural that the new generation should turn to sustainable viticulture. For over ten years now, the vineyards of Château Haut-Canteloup have been grassed over, organic soil improvers have replaced chemical fertilizers, and plant protection products are only used when absolutely necessary. The Bordenave family's philosophy is to combine tradition and modernity. Today, with Alexandre and his brother Vincent, the fourth generation at the helm of the estate, every effort is made to guarantee customers quality wines, the fruit of genuine passion, family know-how and respect for the environment and people. Château Haut-Canteloup produces red, white and rosé wines in the Premières Côtes de Blaye appellation from different terroirs. The result is wines of great richness and refinement.
