Château Joanin Bécot
4/5See the 2 reviews
In 1969, Michel Bécot acquired the renowned Château Beau-Séjour Bécot, a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé. In 2010, his son Gérard Bécot and granddaughter Juliette Bécot joined forces to become owners of Château Joanin Bécot, and began the exciting adventure of creating their own cuvée, father and daughter.
The estate extends over 12 hectares of vines in the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, divided into a vineyard of around 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. A worthy representative of a typical Bordeaux wine, and at the gateway to the magnificent Saint-Emilion terroir, Château Joanin Bécot enjoys the benefits of clay-limestone soil, producing a round wine with fine tannins and incredible freshness. The family's know-how and passion combined with a terroir of incredible quality.

"Obvious freshness from the first moment, lots of body to the tasty red fruits. Everything is in balance and you get both juice, gourmet touches of deepening chocolate shavings and salinity as it develops to the finish. Great stuff and low SO2 additions." (Decanter 2020) - Delivery in wooden case for orders of 12 bottles of this wine (excluding Point Relais delivery method)
