La Brande Castle
Located in Belvès de Castillon, Château La Brande produces wines under the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. Owned by the Todeschini family for three generations, it is currently run by Karl and Yann Todeschini, considered to be the troublemakers of the Right Bank.

Château La Brande is thus the little brother of Château Mangot, located 6 kilometers to the east.

Certified organic since 2020, the Château La Brande vineyard covers 16 hectares planted with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot. The terrain is hilly, ranging from 15 to 70 meters in altitude, and dotted with water sources and groves. The soils at the foot of the hillsides are clay-loam, while the slopes are composed of clay-limestone on Fronsadais molasses with veins of flint.

The oenologist at this winery is Thomas Duclos. He is also the master craftsman behind the wines of Château La Brande and its second wine, Marmot de La Brande, created in 2015.
