Château La Brande
Located in Belvès de Castillon, Château La Brande produces wines under the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. Owned by the Todeschini family for 3 generations, it is currently run by Karl and Yann Todeschini, considered the troublemakers of the Right Bank.

Château La Brande is the little brother of Château Mangot, located 6 kilometers to the east of the latter.

Certified organic since 2020, Château La Brande 's vineyards cover 16 hectares planted with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. The terrain is hilly, varying in altitude from 15 to 70 meters, and is dotted with waterholes and groves. The soils at the foot of the slopes are clay-loam, while the hillsides are composed of clay-limestone on Fronsadais mollasses with veins of flint.

The oenologist at this winery is Thomas Duclos. He is also responsible for making the wines of Château La Brande and its second wine, Marmot de La Brande, created in 2015.

"Château Mangot's little brother stands out for its explosive fruit!"

"A certain frankness in this wine, which announces itself with explosive, straightforward, clean fruit. The palate is very sapid, with a lovely grain of tannin marked by a lovely rusticity. It's a wine that's right in its boots, that speaks of where it comes from, juicy, sanguine, thirst-quenching, signed by beautiful bitters on the finish". (Terre de Vins 2022) - Signed by the Todeschini brothers, this is an estate to watch in the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux AOC!
