Produced from 64 ha of Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Sauvignon, it opens without false note with intense, greedy aromas of red and black candied fruit, mixed with spices and toasted almond. The palate is full-bodied and round, underpinned by dense but well-coated tannins that respect the overall harmony and carry through to the finish, which is still a little spirited.
About the domain :
Jean-François Réaud has been managing Ch. le Grand Moulin since the 1980s, with 40ha of vines in the heart of the Blaye-Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, complemented by a trading activity.
