"A magnificent Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel ~ Vinous "

"Designated Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel in 2020, this is a beautifully crafted Haut-Médoc, elegant in its limpid, brilliant color. If the nose is rather discreet, the palate is more loquacious, open to blackcurrant, spices and toasted notes, sustained by good freshness and tannins well set in the flesh. A lovely classic. (Guide Hachette - Edition 2024) - Château Belle-Vue is one of the Médoc's hottest Crus Bourgeois!

"Thanks to its perfume and discreet succulence, it has the taste of a very good Margaux. This should come as no surprise, as the Belle-Vue vineyards lie immediately to the south of this appellation. Long, elegant finish. Blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 20% Petit Verdot. Drink now or cellar." (James Suckling 2019)

"Regularly among the best Cru Bourgeois, Belle-Vue 2011 has a dark ruby/plum color, abundant fruit, good purity and ripeness, Margaux-like finesse, as well as floral notes, supple tannins and medium body. This revelation of the vintage should be drunk over the next 3-5 years. The 2011 blend is 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot and a whopping 23% Petit Verdot." (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker)

"Another revelation of the vintage in the southern third of the Médoc, this blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot is an elegant 2010 with impressive ripeness, a medium-bodied, textured palate, and abundant notes of cedar, blackcurrant intermixed with nuances of tobacco leaf, licorice and incense. Complex, evolved and ready to drink, it will continue to offer pleasure for at least 5-7 years." (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker)

Notes : Robert Parker 88/100, Bettane & Desseauve 16/20, RVF 15,5/20
"A delicious blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, this château continues to surpass its humble pedigree. The 2007 reveals dense notes of black cherry and raspberry mingled with a hint of loamy soil. Round, generous and medium-bodied, with silky tannins and low acidity" (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker) .
