Château Peyrabon
Château Peyrabon belongs to the elite of the Haut-Médoc appellation, and as such benefited from major investments in 1998: drainage of almost all the plots, renewal of 15 hectares of vines by choosing the highest quality rootstocks (very early, low yielding and very high quality) and the best grape variety/terroir/density match.

Château Peyrabon is now on the road to "reasoned cultivation" of its vineyards: ploughing rather than chemical weeding, systematic green harvesting (systematic de-doubling, de-budding, leaf-thinning or splitting),

Château Peyrabon 's cellars have also undergone extensive renovation: the number of vats has been doubled and thermoregulation installed: 53 vats ranging from 50 to 250 hl for 42 parcels, each individually managed from pruning to blending. Creation of a semi-underground temperature-controlled barrel cellar (capacity 1500 barrels). A set of practices that today enables Château Peyrabon to offer an AOC Haut-Médoc wine of excellent quality.

"Very fine, it exudes class! ~ Vinous "

"Garnet-red with light purple highlights. Refreshing, fruity bouquet of good intensity, marked by raspberries, prunes and a hint of cinnamon. Crisp and creamy on the palate. Beautiful symbiosis between structure and tannins. The tannins are fine-grained and offer good fullness on the whole palate. I'm curious to follow this wine over time, but it's already very convincing. Bravo." (Yves Beck 2018)

1*Étoile Hachette

"Dark red with intense cherry highlights, this is an engaging wine. The bouquet, as powerful as it is pleasing, blends red fruits with spices and cocoa. Ample, dense and well-balanced, the palate reveals a solid structure, a guarantee of good ageing." (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2015) Delivery in wooden case for orders delivered in France of 6 bottles of this wine.

Note : Decanter 4****
A beautifully crafted Haut-Médoc from a terroir of sandy gravel on a clay subsoil. Already very expressive, with lively, intense black fruit aromas and a powerful, opulent palate that's not sluggish, with ripe tannins and a round, silky attack. A complete wine!
