Domaine Pont de Guestres
Visit Domaine Pont de Guestres takes its name from the bridge over the Barbanne stream, which crosses the Pomerol, Lalande-de-Pomerol and Saint-Emilion appellations.

Owned by the Rousselot family since 1970, Domaine Pont de Guestres is located on a sandy-gravel terroir of almost 2 hectares planted exclusively with Merlot.

In 1986, Rémy and Ghislaine Rousselot took over the reins of the family properties: Château Vray Houchat (Fronsac), Château Les Roches de Ferrand (Fronsac), Domaine Pont de Guestres (Lalande de Pomerol) and Château au Pont de Guîtres (Lalande de Pomerol).

2*Coup de Coeur Hachette

"Born of pure Merlot, aged for eight months in vats and twelve in barrels, the estate's 2012 is a winner: its deep color with youthful violet highlights is a good omen, as is its bouquet combining flowers and very ripe black berries. Its warm character is tempered by good acidity and silky tannins. A complete wine, already elegant and suitable for laying down". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2016)
