"Winner of three 'Coup de Coeur' awards from the Guide, this cuvée is still going strong in the 2007 vintage. Intense crimson to the eye, it boasts a bouquet of blackcurrants still somewhat dominated by the woodiness of the ageing process. Straightforward on the attack, full-bodied and powerful, the palate is supported by firm tannins that need to be softened for two or three years in the cellar". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins)

Wine rated (2011 guide) 1*Star (Very successful wine)
About the wine:
After growing up in Mexico, Henri Bourlon's father moved to France, where he bought this estate, which has since undergone considerable development, respecting both man and the environment. Winner of three "Coup de Coeur" awards from the Guide, this cuvée is still going strong in the 2007 vintage. Intense crimson to the eye, it boasts a bouquet of blackcurrants still somewhat dominated by the woodiness of the ageing process. Straightforward on the attack, full-bodied and powerful, the palate is supported by firm tannins that need to soften over two or three years in the cellar.
