Château Rocher-Figeac
Château Rocher-Figeac, adjacent to the vineyards of the famous Grand Cru Classé Château Figeac, was created in 1880 by Mr. Rocher, ancestor of the current owner. Straddling the communes of Saint-Emilion and Pomerol, near Bordeaux, on the banks of the Tailhas stream, the Château Rocher-Figeac vineyard today covers 6.5 hectares.

The Château Rocher-Figeac vineyard benefits from one of the best terroirs in the Saint-Emilion appellation area, made up of gravelly soil and iron crasse. Château Rocher-Figeac wines are made from a blend of grape varieties comprising 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc.

The Château Rocher-Figeac produces a Saint-Emilion appellation wine of remarkable substance, not devoid of finesse, developing aromas of black and red fruits, enhanced by peppery notes and a light woodiness. The experience acquired on this estate, which has been run by the same family since its origins, ensures the long-lasting quality of the vintages.

Château Rocher-Figeac adjoins the vineyard of the famous Grand Cru Classé Château Figeac, and benefits from one of the best terroirs in the appellation area. A red wine with lots of fruit and some discreet woody notes, remarkable substance for an unclassified Saint-Emilion, with lots of roundness and a real capacity for ageing. To be discovered!
