Château Rocher-Figeac

Château Rocher-Figeac, adjacent to the vineyard of the famous Grand Cru Classé Château Figeac, was created in 1880 by Mr. Rocher, ancestor of the current owner. Straddling the communes of Saint-Emilion and Pomerol, near Bordeaux, on the banks of the Tailhas stream, the Château Rocher-Figeac vineyard now covers 6.5 hectares.

The Château Rocher-Figeac vineyard benefits from one of the best terroirs in the Saint-Emilion appellation area, consisting of gravelly soil and iron-rich clay. Château Rocher-Figeac wines are made from a blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc.

Château Rocher-Figeac produces a Saint-Emilion appellation wine with remarkable substance and finesse, developing aromas of black and red fruits, complemented by peppery notes and a light woodiness. The experience gained at this estate, which has been run by the same family since its inception, ensures the consistent quality of the wines.
