"A very fine bottle with depth, character, and promising prospects ~Yves Beck"
Suduiraut 2019 has a powerful nose, quite woody at the moment, although there is a lot of fruit packed behind it. The palate is dense and intense, with layers of botrytized fruit, ginger root, and quince leading to a persistent and refined finish. A wine with broad shoulders, but one that has class. Blind, I thought it might be Yquem? No, it's its neighbor." (Vinous 2023) - Delivery in wooden crates is available for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (depending on the country and shipping method selected).

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2020 guide) 5 stars (Exceptional producers, representing the absolute pinnacle of quality in France and worldwide)
About the estate:
The estate now produces the very fine wines that its terroir allows, with perfect consistency and a complex but perfectly thought-out range of grand and second wines and two remarkable dry wines. It is difficult to choose between the sweet second wines, Lion, which is slightly more modern and exuberant, and Castelnau, which is more classic, as both are made without compromise, with a lovely roasted grape flavor. Among the dry wines, S has a little more density than the simple dry wine. Only Yquem does slightly better, especially in terms of aging.
Guide Hachette des vins
Wine rating (2023 guide) 2 stars (Outstanding wine)
About wine:
Dressed in a beautiful bright yellow robe, this Sauternes offers a subtle, delicately floral first nose, then opens up with notes of fresh apricots and vanilla enhanced by a hint of roasted coffee. Full-bodied and generous on the palate, this is a lovely, harmonious wine that is intense, refined, and delicate, retaining a pleasant freshness on the finish despite its richness. 2027-2040

Wine rated (2023 guide) 98/100
Rated estate (2020 guide) 2 stars (These very large estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).
About wine:
With its aromatic elegance, its fruit evokes mandarin, more candied than fresh. A surprisingly sweet Sauternes, as this terroir often produces robust wines, a sweetness that enhances the wine with its grace. The liqueur is certainly generous, but it is balanced by the sensation of concentrated grapes. Although it can already be drunk, it deserves two or three years to refine its high liqueur, which is reinforced by the imprint of this great terroir.
About the estate:
This vast estate was purchased in 1992 by AXA Millésimes. Thanks to its geographically well-distributed vineyards, Suduiraut combines the power of Haut-Sauternais wines with the prestigious fruitiness found in the wines of the Preignac and Barsac plateaus. The result is a complete nectar, very slow to age, which, in great years, borders on genius. The latest vintages have reached a very high level.

About wine:
Suduiraut 2019 has a powerful nose, quite woody at the moment, although there is plenty of fruit packed behind it. The palate is dense and intense, with layers of botrytized fruit, stem ginger, and quince leading to a lingering, refined finish. A wine with broad shoulders, but one that has class. Blind, I thought it might be the Yquem? No, it's its neighbor. Tasted at the annual Southwold tasting. 2028-2060
Yves Beck
Wine rated (2021 guide) 97/100
About wine:
What an intense, inviting, and complex bouquet with multiple facets. It reveals itself step by step, revealing minerality, fruit, and a hint of aging. Caramel, toasted almonds, citrus fruits, and candied oranges. The palate is full-bodied and salty. As with the nose, there is a superb symbiosis between freshness and sweetness, between breed and creaminess. A very fine bottle with depth, character, and promising prospects. 2026-2070

Wine rated (2022 guide) 97/100
About wine:
Rich, lush, opulent, concentrated, and above all vibrant and fresh. From start to finish, the wine offers an elixir of overripe pineapple, apricot, white peach, flowers, spices, and honey jam. It drinks effortlessly and will give you pleasure for decades. 2022-2060
Anthocyanes - Yohan Castaing
Wine rated (2020 guide) 96-98/100
About wine:
White fruits, spices, apricot, quince, exotic fruits. Beautifully roasted, a moderately dense liqueur for superb tension, pure and elegant. Very nice balance and freshness on the finish. A Suduiraut that thinks it's a Barsac.
