Jean-Claude Boisset
Jean-Claude Boisset set up his small wine house near Gevrey-Chambertin in the early 1960s. He settled in the heart of Nuits-Saint-Georges, in a former Ursuline convent. The spirit of the house can be summed up in three words: origin, purity, elegance.

Grégory Patriat joined the house and in 2002 became Jean-Claude Boisset's "viniculteur". He reconciles the art of winemaking and the art of cultivation, the link between wine and vine, the person through whom wine is born. Grégory has the great luxury of being able to choose his own grapes. He works in symbiosis with "his" winemakers, the very ones who accept his drastic selection conditions and inordinate demands. In the vineyard, the demands are very precise: control of yields, disbudding, green harvesting, organic cultivation of influence.

Jean-Claude Boisset makes authentic wines, where the human hand is as discreet as possible; the wines are concentrated, round and, of course, express their terroir. Man steps aside, the earth does the talking.

2*Coup de Coeur Hachette

"Grégory Patriat's Maranges is stunning from start to finish. The color is brilliant and intense, the nose fine and racy, on blackcurrant, kirsch cherry and peony, the palate ample, dense and very long, backed by silky and fine tannins that reinforce its already very pleasant character. A 1er cru of great elegance, to be enjoyed both young and with age". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2018)

Note du Guide Hachette des Vins : 2**(Vin remarquable) + Coup de Coeur
"Charmes is a beautiful, sparkling ruby color, with a flattering, ripe nose of Morello cherry in alcohol and undergrowth, and a hint of saltiness. This invigorating note is echoed in a palate of great finesse, clean, silky, airy and sufficiently structured to withstand long cellaring (eight to ten years). A true chambolle. Only one flaw: its confidentiality". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2014)
