Domaine Laleure-Piot
Visit domaine Laleure-Piot has been located for three centuries in the charming village of Pernand-Vergelesses, a veritable jewel on the Montagne de Corton in the heart of the Côte de Beaune.

With Champy's takeover of the Domaine in 2010, the entire 10-hectare vineyard has been transferred to Champy. Laleure-Piot has been converted to organic and biodynamic farming. Production initially came from vines in the villages of Pernand - Vergelesses, Savigny-les-Beaune, Aloxe-Corton and Chorey-Les-Beaune, with a high proportion of 1er crus and Grands crus in both red and white wines.

Yield control, short pruning, de-budding, leaf-thinning and manual harvesting all contribute to optimum grape ripeness. The renewal of Laleure-Piot by improving the quality of the grapes and modernizing the winemaking vats, aims to reinforce the fine reputation acquired over the years in France and abroad.

Les Vergelesses 1er Cru offers good aromatic intensity, with notes of small black fruits (blackberries, blackcurrants), roasting and toasting, on a mineral background (calcareous marl). The attack is frank and fresh, with morello cherry notes, a lovely structure, present but integrated tannins, and a persistent, fresh, mineral and fruity finish.

Les Belles Filles opens with a remarkable aromatic intensity, with aromas of white-fleshed fruit (peach) and white flowers (acacia) on the nose, and freshness thanks to lemony notes reinforced by its minerality. The palate is clean and fresh, balanced between fruit and acidity, with a lingering mineral finish...

Laleure-Piot - Bourgogne Les Galtières 2012

Les Galtières is a fine, elegant Burgundy with citrus and lemon aromas, floral notes and a hint of toast. The attack on the palate is fresh, with roundness and balance, on the fruit, and a fresh, persistent finish. A lovely harmony of origins, between ripeness and minerality!
