Domaine Laleure-Piot

The Laleure-Piot estate has been located for three centuries in the charming village of Pernand-Vergelesses, a true jewel of the Montagne de Corton in the heart of the Côte de Beaune.

With the takeover of the estate in 2010 by Champy, all 10 hectares of the Laleure-Piot vineyard were converted to organic and biodynamic farming. The production, initially from vineyards in the villages of Pernand-Vergelesses, Savigny-les-Beaune, Aloxe-Corton, and Chorey-Les-Beaune, includes a significant proportion of Premier Crus and Grands Crus in both red and white wines.

Yield control, short pruning, debudding, leaf removal, and manual harvesting all contribute effectively to achieving optimum grape ripeness. The revival of Laleure-Piot through improving grape quality and modernizing the winery aims to reinforce the excellent reputation acquired over past vintages in France and abroad.
