Domaine Jeannin-Naltet
In a single block in the village of Mercurey, the Domaine Jeannin-Naltet is a family estate of winegrowers and harvesters since 1858. It extends over 9 hectares of vines, including 7 hectares of Mercurey 1er cru in the heart of the Côte-Chalonnaise region. Benoît Eschard, the last of the generation, took over the family estate in 2011, respecting tradition and the Burgundian spirit.

Domaine Jeannin-Naltet produces on 3 Mercurey 1ers Crus climats: "Les Naugues", "Le Clos l'Evêque", and the monopoly "Clos des Grands Voyens". Each parcel is cultivated and vinified with care, all contributing to enriching vintage after vintage the excellence of this singular craftsmanship and expressing the different facets of the vineyard.

The Mercurey appellation is mainly located on wind-sheltered marl-limestone slopes, which give its red and white wines fleshy power and crisp fruit. Its great wines are gourmet: generous and elegant thanks to a terroir that predisposes its vines to a noble maturity. Domaine Jeannin-Naltet 's red and white wines are single-varietal, made with Pinot noir (red) and Chardonnay (white).

"This sparkling ruby 1er cru reveals a rich, powerful nose of red berries with hints of caramel. The palate is dense, silky, round and concentrated, with depth and plenty of freshness, which was not easy in this hot, sunny vintage. A great success. (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2018)
